Tibetan Terrier
The Tibetan Terrier is a medium-sized dog breed that originated in Tibet. They are known for their thick double coats, which can be either straight or wavy, and come in a variety of colours including white, black, brown, and grey. Tibetan Terriers are friendly and intelligent dogs that make great companions. They are also hypoallergenic, making them a good choice for people with allergies. Their unique appearance and friendly personality make the Tibetan Terrier a favourite when it comes to modelling and acting roles.
The Tibetan Terrier is a smart, pleasant dog that can be gentle yet full of life. When these dogs mature and get older, they have a calm temperament but they are always ready to play and exercise. A common trait of the Tibetan Terrier is that they are vocal dogs. The Tibetan Terrier dogs are usually around 35 – 41cm high and weigh around 8 – 14kgs.
Tibetan Terriers have been around for almost 2 millennia, and were bred in monasteries by Buddhist monks. They were thought to bring good luck to those who had the privilege of owning them. In 1956, the Tibetan Terriers were brought to America and became a firm fan favourite with dog aficionado and beginners alike.
