Even though they occurred naturally well before this, it wasn’t until the 1990s that breeder began to mix the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Friese to produce an adorable companion dog that was far healthier and less prone to genetic illness than both of it’s parent breeds. Having inherited a great deal of positive attributes and a loving, gentle personality, the Cavachon is a family favourite dog breed and enjoys nothing more than getting attention from its family.

While they do have a strong prey drive which can make focus on some tasks challenging (especially in outdoor locations with other wildlife) the Cavachon is naturally a very intelligent dog breed which allows them to learn all sorts of complex tricks. Due to their playful nature, proper training is required from a young age to ensure that the Cavachon is responsive to instructions.

All our Cavachon dog breed animals available for hire at Urban Paws are fully health checked and trained.
