Canadian Sphynx
Getting its start within Canada in the late 1960s, the Sphynx is a wonderfully unique cat breed. Instantly identifiable by its lack of fur and wrinkled skin, the Canadian Sphynx provides a striking appearance that, quite literally, makes them stand out from the crowd. While they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, the Canadian Sphinx is frequently utilised within marketing and public relation campaigns due to the individuality they provide for a brand.
While they may appear completely bald at first glance, the Canadian Sphynx actually has a thin coat of fuzz that gives their skin a unique feel. While this does help them in combatting the cold, the Canadian Sphinx is still incredibly susceptible to cold weather and will often require a warm environment in which to work in or a thick jumper to keep them nice and toasty. Contrary to their stoic appearance, the Canadian Sphynx is playful and massively fond of social interaction. A role within acting or modelling is well suited to them as they love to be the centre of attention.
