Bengal

The Bengal cat is an attractive breed that is known for its visual similarities to ‘big cats’ like tigers and lynxes. It is a large cat that displays many of the traits synonymous with wild cats, including its posture, athletic ability, and exotic colouring. Bengals make excellent animal actors due to their muscular bodies, and great cat models due to their striking coats, which are often spotted or striped.

While the Bengal cat breed may appear ferocious and resemble its wild cousins, it is in fact widely known for its loyalty and caring nature. While in general cats do not seek out a great deal of human affection, the Bengal is a little different in this sense. Owners of this cat breed have often stated that the Bengal is gentle and serves more as a caring friend than anything resembling a predator making them perfect for interacting with a multitude of people and animals on set.

Cats require a different training process to many other animals and due to their often-proud personalities this can prove a challenge. Ahead of allowing any one of the Urban Paws animals to be hired out we ensure that they are properly trained to interact and work within a variety of different environments, people and even other animals. During this process we also ensure that our Bengal cats are healthy with all of the latest vaccinations and medical checks present.
