American Curl
The American Curl cat breed is incredibly distinguishable on account of its quite unique ears. Rather than the common pointed ears present on most cat breeds, the American Curl has ears that curl backwards. Boasting a friendly personality and affection toward people, this cat breed has quickly rose to stardom and become a popular breed used within various modelling and acting campaigns.
Historically the American Curl originated in California where a kitten with backward ears was found. Several years later the cat had a litter of kittens some of which exhibited the same mutation, this became the foundation of the breed. Having been a domestic cat for so long, the American Curl is naturally most comfortable in this environment where its friendliness and interest in people has won many over. They are a lot less distant than other cat breeds and favour social interaction and attention.
