Reuben – Border Collie
Breed: Border Collie
More information about this dog
Reuben is a beautiful Red Merle Collie dog model that has a superb temperament and loves to work. His distinctive red markings on his face really make him stand out from the crowd and he would work well for a variety of marketing jobs.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
This stunning boy is dual registered by the International Sheepdog Society. He can respond from a distance to voice and hand signals.
Reuben is a typical working bred collie – he loves to work, and his other great passions are toys and food. He is extremely fit and active. Reu is happy being handled but prefers to be doing something than sitting having a fuss. Reuben loves to play in the water, especially the sea and enjoys swimming and retrieving. Reu is no couch potato, and would be horrified at being classified a ‘senior’ now he is 8!
Reu lives with other dogs and is happy meeting dogs on walks, however, he prefers to work by himself as can feel uncomfortable in a confined space. He has worked for several handlers, including children, at both agility and flyball and is comfortable in busy and noisy environments – he has competed at Crufts and given many demonstrations at busy country shows.
Reuben is comfortable with people of all ages and will quickly make friends with anyone if they will play or provide food! Reu doesn’t have experience of cats or small furries so would not want to work with them.
He is agility and flyball trained and has passed his silver KC Good Citizen Award.

Pet Acting / Modelling Experience
Reu has been on the cover of a Border Collie book and has done a shoot to build a pet photographers portfolio. This experienced dog has also attended a busy commercial studio in London for a casting and was not at all bothered by the flashes, or unusual flooring.
In all, this stunning boy is suitable for roles according to his skill set.
