Glamour in the dog world comes in many forms, but the Afghan must be in the top ten of anybody’s list. Picasso & Shakira are certainly two fine examples of this majestic breed. The breed standard talks of strength & dignity as well as an Oriental expression.
Picasso, a handsome male is 3 years of age. He loves everybody & everything a very loving pet all round. He has a laid back temperament & takes everything in his stride. This hound is very people orientated & Is good with dogs of all sizes including people of all ages including children.
Being an Afghan Hound, they are incredible difficult to train, but Picasso has basic commands which include sit, stay & wait. He will respond to these commands from a stranger. He also walks beautifully on a lead making him an ideal pet model for stills photography & editorial briefs.
Shakira the stunning female is under 3 years of age. She is very sassy, & she knows it. Shakira has a air of grace when she walks, her beautiful silky coat off-sets her aristocratic & dignified appearance. She is slightly aloof a diva dog model quality.
This beautiful hound is no stranger to the show ring & therefore walks beautifully on the lead, very flamboyant. She is well socialised in new environments & crowded places.
To date this pet has basic obedience, which included sit, stay & wait. She will also happily work with strangers (actors/models) with no issues. Her most recent advert for Next & Marie Claire editorial meant Shakira had to work with other dogs & human models & she took it all in her stride with no concerns.
She has a laid back & loving temperament, good with other dogs & people of all ages including children.
Both dogs are well socialised & used to travelling but unfortunately cannot work with cats. These stunning animals are ideal pet talents for small pet modelling based briefs.
