Neo – Neapolitan Mastiff
Name: Neo
Breed: Neapolitan Mastiff
More information about this dog
Neo is a male 7-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff. This breed is a heavy drooler, require their jowls to be towel dried, particularly in hot weather or after getting a drink (although they do make amusing photos when slobbery!)
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
The breed looks intimidating but is actually affectionate, calm and loving. They enjoy nothing more than being around their family and friends. He is a friendly gentle giant, a much-loved family dog, being deeply affectionate, he sees himself as a lap dog and would be cuddled and groomed all day if he could.
He can work with other animals, including birds, horses, reptiles and calm cats and has proved to be comfortable in front of the camera. Neo mixes easily with all types of dogs and is well socialised, he is unfazed and laid back when faced with crowds of children, adults and unfamiliar places/situations.
His loose wrinkles are amazing and they move freely, which is typical of ancient Roman gladiator dog.
Neo is generally quiet and tends to only bark when necessary. As a food motivated dog he is easily trained as he has a strong desire to please and listen to commands. This huge dog is well trained and takes direction well and enjoys working with actors also taking directions from strangers. Taking on new challenges is something Neo enjoys as he is very obedient and enjoys learning new skills and being challenged mentally and physically.
