Mr Darcy – Standard Poodle
Breed: Standard Poodle
More information about this dog
Mr Darcy is a Standard Poodle. Weighing 21kg, his athletic profile stands out from the crowd. He is everything you would imagine a top dog model to be.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
Mr Darcy is trained and handled by a professional dog trainer and has achieved his Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold Award.
This dog can work from a distance to voice/hand signals, which is very useful for pet modelling photoshoots.
Darcy is an extremely happy, goofy, sensitive, affectionate and loving boy. He absolutely loves being in
front of a camera and is a real showman.
As often is the way with Poodles he can be a little aloof with strangers but after a moment or two he will end up as their best friend. He’s a very gentle and sweet boy who will work for anyone if they have chicken.
It’s best that Mr Darcy doesn’t work around cats as they can be very distracting for him but he can happily work around other dogs but prefers neutered males or females.
Darcy has experience of shoots inside and outside. This Poodle is an absolute natural in front of a camera and knows his job and is able to take instruction from his handler even with distractions such as loud music, costumes and multiple people on set.
As a confident dog, he is even comfortable working in a veterinary environment, which can be very difficult for most dogs so this is a very useful skill for a top dog model if they are needed to work in medical photoshoots, such as advertising a veterinary surgery.
