Jasper – Westie
Name: Jasper
Breed: West Highland terrier
More information about this dog
Jasper is a lively, independent, happy, cheeky, loving, friendly Westie. He is available for hire as a model or pet actor. Walking in both town and country is something Jasper loves as well as the beach.
He is intelligent and interested in the world around him, always willing to play and learn. Despite his liveliness, he is quite calm and chilled at heart and quickly settles down for a snooze or a snuggle when not working.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
Although he hasn’t had previous modelling experience he isn’t camera shy. This multi-talented dog competes at Heelwork to Music and Canine Freestyle, so is used to being the centre of attention and having a noisy audience.
Like most terriers, he isn’t a pushover and will stand his ground, but he is friendly to adults. children and other dogs. Sometimes Jasper will bark at men in hats or people who pop up unexpectedly but once introduced gets along fine.
He will happily work with people and dogs but he can sometimes bark if the other dog is staring at him, however, he is currently being taught that this isn’t acceptable. True to his breed he will chase anything small that moves fast – cats and squirrels cause great excitement.
Jasper will work for both food and toys (a tennis ball is the ultimate reward) and he has been clicker trained. He can work to both hand and verbal signals. Jasper can currently work at a distance of 3 to 5 feet and this is increasing with training.

As a typical Westie, this little dog has a big personality. This stunning dog is so much fun to be around and can be stubborn (at times) true to his Westie breeding but he is a happy dog who is willing to work and always able to put a smile on your face with his antics.
He is suitable for roles as a dog actor or pet model that compliment his skill set.
