Hetty – Belgian Malinois
Name: Hetty
Breed: Belgian Malinois
More information about this dog
Hetty is a Belgian Malinois dog model. Hetty is very biddable and can switch between working mode and relaxing, so she can perform for a wide variety of media projects.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
Hetty is known as the “Mali Supermodel” based not only on her striking looks and flowing movements but for her love of a camera. This confident girl already has experience with flash photography and studio sets. As a very sound dog, not much phases her.
Hetty is a qualified Therapy dog and works regularly delivering affection and cuddles to those who need them. This multi-talented dog actor is even trained to search and identify scent. Tracking is the ability to “track and trail” a scent of a human (or animal). With specialist training as a search dog that can identify a scent by touching with her nose and remaining very still, this dog actor would be ideal for roles requiring a “security type” dog. This pet talent would be ideal for crime scene dramas or reenactments where a police, security or search dog would be needed. This breed is also very popular in war films.
She has an array of tricks in her tool kit and can easily be taught new things, a great asset for a top dog model. Hetty will work for treats and can respond to voice and hand commands.
She will work for other people provided that the new person spends some time getting to know her and engaging with her. When working Hetty needs a line of sight to her handler but as long as she has a little “getting to know you” time with an actor, then she is a happy go lucky kind of girl. She is fine working around other dogs, cats and animals. As a well-socialised dog model, she is used to being on a smallholding and has had exposure to all kinds of livestock.
She is good wearing props and clothing.
