Dexter – Miniature Dachshund
Breed: Miniature Dachshund
More information about this dog
Mr Dexter aka Dexter the Miniature Dachshund is often mistaken for a puppy. His wrinkly chops and socks and large expressive puppy-dog eyes certainly catch everyone’s attention. This little dog is distinctly un-dachshund-like as he is great at obedience and has a laid-back demeanour.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
This clever sausage is very quick to learn and is extremely food motivated. Dexter will pretty much do anything for anyone with a biscuit! He is a total natural in front of the camera and can take direction from a distance using both voice and/or hand signals. He really is very patient and can pick up new tricks or tasks quickly upon request.
Props pose no problem for Dexter and he is equally happy and accustomed to donning a pair of sunglasses as placing a paw on a product or balancing objects on his head.
Dexter is well socialised and is used to being in all sorts of busy environments and situations. He is good with other dogs and adores people of all ages with a particular soft spot for babies and children.
Can work with props
Happy to wear pet clothing & accessories
Dog Acting / Modelling Experience
This handsome pooch has pet modelling experience having worked for the Telegraph magazine for Mungo & Maud. He is also a regularly featured model for his mum’s jewellery business and therefore accustomed to a studio environment.
Dexter has a great temperament and heaps of character, an ideal dog for small pet modelling roles.
