Daisy-May – Perfectly Imperfect
More information about this dog
Daisy is one of our beautiful perfectly imperfect pets. It was thought she had been used as a bait dog at some point, due to her injuries and scars. Daisy was passed into a rescue, with a damaged eye and no obvious treatment to it, her eye was deeply infected and had to be removed and sewn up. Whilst in recovery, Daisy was put into a foster home, after three days her foster parent decided to keep Daisy and adopt her as she had stolen their heart!
In her first few weeks with her new owner. Daisy met a lot of new people and dogs, she became friends with everyone instantly! In these weeks though, her eye started to weep more and more. Upon inspection at the vet, a tiny shrivelled up eye was found deep in her socket, they estimated this had been there for at least two years. Daisy obviously has had no vet treatments at all in her past life. Alongside with this horrible neglect, Daisy has a large scar around her neck, from being tied up too tight with wire. This poor girl has had it rough.
Even though Daisy has been through a tough life, she is a happy girl now and is very loved by her mum.
