He is a qualified general-purpose security dog and is registered with the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU). Charlie is trained in building and area searches, crowd control methods and various search methods used in the security industry.
With an array of security and protection training, he is a brilliant actor for roles requiring a dog that needs to show a protective side. What is great about Charlie is that not only can he demonstrate protection but work but he is actually very sociable with children and adults and he loves affection from his human friends. He’s not too keen on other dogs but puts up with them.

Dog Acting/Modelling Experience
Check out the videos below to see a ‘stick attack’ scenario, where after several warnings the criminal failed to stop and release the weapon. It also shows a clear demonstration of Charlie being deployed upon command to stop and help detain the criminal. Once Charlie has a ‘grip’ his trainer gives clear instructions to release the weapon, stand back and stand still. Once this was achieved Charlie was then instructed to release ‘out’ and return to his trainer.
Has worked with Pets at Home as the face of Ava pet food packaging for German Shepherds.
Due to Charlie’s training and commands, he is an ideal dog for specific film and photography briefs. He is a gentle giant with a lovely nature and very easy to work with.
