Boris is a stunning Working Cocker Spaniel male with a natural untrimmed flowing coat. He is large at 20 kgs but with a lean & muscular build. His black coat is very shiny with a small white marking on his chest.
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
Boris has an excellent temperament; a very confident & outgoing dog with a happy-go-lucky character. As part of Boris’ puppy skills training programme, he was introduced to several farm animals Llamas, sheep, cows, chickens & horses so is calm collected around them to the point of ignoring them after an initial look.
Boris is clicker trained using Positive Reinforcement, shaping & treats. He is intelligent & loves to learn new tricks & generally picks things up really quickly. He has both his Bronze & Silver Kennel Club Good Citizen awards & is currently working towards his Gold award, he is also a fully qualified Assistance Dog with Canine Generated Independence & does several tasks around the house to help out, picking up & handing various dropped items, emptying the tumble dryer, closing doors & fetching items.
This Working Cocker Spaniel knows many tricks, as well as all of the basic commands & he, can work at a distance.
This fun-loving action dog adores water, muddy puddles & especially enjoys swimming. He gets on with all dogs he meets; he ignores cats, rabbits & other animals & makes no effort to chase them when off lead.
Hide his face behind something whilst standing on hind paws,
Walk around an object,
Go to mark,
Close doors with nose,
Good with the hoover,
…to name but a few
Boris’ handler can train him new skills for a specific brief with notice.
In all Boris is a suitable pet talent for most roles requiring talent.
