Barney – Standard Dachshund
Breed: Standard Dachshund
More information about this dog
Urban Paws introduces Barney a standard brindle Dachshund dog model – a pretty rare colour for Dachshunds!
Pet Acting / Modelling Ability
He has an extremely handsome face and loves to strike a pose. As a complete softy, he loves meeting new dogs…no matter the size! He lives with his feline siblings and has been raised around horses so is fine with most animals, which is great for a dog model.
Barney is trained for a wide range of tricks/commands & is very eager to please. He’s definitely a Mummy’s boy but can take voice and hand signals from others as long as they are delivered correctly.
He is food-obsessed, easy to train and a very quick learner. He can grasp the basics of a new trick in around 30 minutes. This clever boy is great at taking commands at a distance and can hold a pose with no problems.

Social Media Pet Influencer
Barney has worked with small companies on Instagram modelling their products and has had a feature in a couple of magazines for his fancy dress.
He has also worked with independent bow tie & bandana companies and is affiliated with House of Harris Hattie. Barney’s unique looks and his brindle colouring show off clothing really well, so it’s easy to see why he’s often picked as a social media model.
Micro-influencer Barney also runs a fabulous blog where he reviews eateries and dog-friendly locations such as spas and hotels. It’s a fresh and fun blog site that is ideal for food brands and businesses that are pet-friendly.
Pet Acting / Modelling Experience
In all, this pet model and influencer is ideal for lifestyle and product placement shoots or TV/film work. Coupled with his wide tricks list, Barney is a strong micro-influencer that is suitable for a huge variety of influencer work promoting brands in the outdoors, clothing, and food markets.
